VSA-X Xcelerate High Volume and High Performance Measurement Software

VSA-X (VSA Xcelerate) provides a test software framework using trusted Keysight measurement science and analytics designed for high-volume testing.

It works with any instruments, Keysight or non-Keysight, to acquire data. Developers can include only the features needed, with no necessary extras, building on state-of-the-art signal analysis software intellectual property (IP). By decoupling acquisition from analysis, multiple data streams can be brought onto a platform, helping to scale testing.

Manufacturing test engineers, DVT engineers, test software developers, and architects can achieve 2x to 10x or even greater test execution speed by developing customized, streamlined applications using VSA-X with concurrent processing.

Vector signal analysis software, also known as 89600 VSA, is ideal for evaluating and troubleshooting wireless signals in research and development (R&D). This software is PC-based, supporting numerous hardware measurement platforms like Keysight’s spectrum analyzers.

Measurement applications provide ready-to-use measurements for signal analysis. Measurement applications run either inside benchtop signal analyzers, on a PC for connection to the benchtop, or PXIe test instruments.

89600 VSA software is used to develop and validate early R&D development. Its setup can be leveraged and used for VSA-X Xcelerate Measurement. VSA-X Xcelerate measurement shares the same setup and measurement science IP with 89600 VSA but it is mainly used to deploy and accelerate testing in DvT and manufacturing.

With VSA-X Xcelerate Measurement software, you can measure cellular standards (2G/3G/4G/5G), wireless connectivity standards (WLAN and NB-IoT) and adding more which can give you the versatility to analyze signals across different technologies efficiently.

VSA-X licensing has three category licenses: 1) Base Server, 2) Concurrency add-ons, and 3) one or more measurement application pack per technology. All licenses are available as node-locked, transportable, USB-portable, or floating (single-site, regional, or worldwide), with both perpetual and subscription (time-based) terms. Concurrency add-on licenses are used in VSA-X Xcelerate Measurement software to enable concurrent measurement processes running in parallel on a server. Users can add multiple concurrent process licenses initially or add more later. The total concurrent processing capacity is determined by the total number of KS900MS1A licenses installed, and additional concurrency can be added in increments of 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, or 64.
