OEM WEEE Requirements
The Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment (WEEE) directive aims to minimize the impact of electrical and electronic equipment on the environment during their lifetimes, and when they eventually become waste. It applies to all electrical and electric products and imposes requirements to collect, treat, recover and recycle "e-waste" at its end of life. Electronic end user products must also carry a WEEE label, and recovery and recycling information has to be provided to the recycler.
Keysight requires suppliers of OEM products to provide WEEE labeling according to details in Keysight's General Specification for the Environment (GSE).
