The Keysight 87422A universal input, DC switching power supply provides bias voltages to operate Keysight microwave system amplifiers. Integrate these compact power supplies into a system or use standalone on the bench. This 90 watt, plus or minus 15V DC power supply powers the Keysight 83020A microwave system power amplifier. An additional plus or minus 12V DC output is provided to power a preamp such as the Keysight 83006A or 83017A. Included with the power supply are the necessary two-meter cables to connect to the amplifier.

When connected to an X-Series signal analyzer, the USB preamplifier automatically configures the analyzers to detect the specific preamplifier connected, and downloads the embedded calibration data such as gain, noise figure and S-parameters. The calibration data provides accurate correction data and more repeatable results for each measurement.
