C-V2X

Podcast episode on 5G CV2X technology, highlighting its role in advancing automotive safety through vehicle-to-everything communications.

Achieving C-V2X Compliance

Testing the performance of cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) components and subsystems to achieve compliance against evolving 5G test requirements is an ongoing challenge for the connected vehicle market. The global acceptance for the C-V2X technology takes autonomous driving from a shared vision to mass-market reality. C-V2X uses the 3rd Partner Project (3GPP) standard for 4G and 5G mobile cellular connectivity and operates in the 5.9 GHz frequency band. In most countries, this is the official designated Intelligent Transport System (ITS) frequency band. C-V2X certification is a shifting landscape because of the evolving regional ITS standards while at the same time the regulatory requirements for 5G are a moving target. Manufacturers must accommodate future iterations and legislative changes to be competitive in a rapidly expanding marketplace. This white paper outlines the importance of C-V2X and how to stay ahead of C-V2X certification despite the evolving 5G test requirements and regulations. The key topics covered in the white paper including the following: Advantages of C-V2X Technology, Automotive Industry alliances, C-V2X certification Challenges, C-V2X Testing and Validation, Ensure conformance, C-V2X Test Solutions. Download this white paper for more insights.

Following C-V2X Standards

This video will explain about how Keysight support release 14 LTE today with 15 features with 16 coming and which is a 5G NR sidelink. In the demonstration we will show C-V2X Radio Conformance Test toolset and PCT protocol conformance toolsets with validated GCF test cases. Keysight also providing OmniAir test cases for certifying C-V2X products in North America region.

All Things 5G takes a look at 3GPP Release 16 with Roger Nichols and Javier Campos of Keysight providing insight into the key business and technical aspects of the enhancements it contains.

C-V2X Congestion Testing

This video will explain how we create a congestion test with realistic scenario. We will show power profile for distance as well as periodicity for testing congestion control algorithms.

Achieving C-V2X Compliance

This white paper explores the importance of C-V2X and how to navigate 5G certification when the required standards are evolving.

The Challenges of 5G C-V2X Testing

Emulate Vehicle Congestion with C-V2X

Watch the Keysight C-V2X Test Solution in action. This demonstration of an electronic emergency brake light warning (EEBL) test with a congested scenario walks through the test setup and how to select different scenarios.

C-V2X Cross Domain Analysis

In this demo video, we are demonstrating cross-domain analysis from physical layer to application layer. With powerful data analysis capability, RF engineers can get a really good sense for the quality of the transmitter values at the same time, can see the messaging and application layer, where we have all the vehicles moving around in this scenario, including the device on the test.

5G C-V2X Communication in Autonomous Vehicles

Vehicles are becoming increasingly connected and autonomous and can communicate with each other in what is called the V-2-V model as well as with its surroundings via vehicle-to-everything, or V2X technology. Cellular V2X or ‘C-V2X’ is rapidly becoming the technology of choice for this type of communication and has been adopted in China and more recently North America. Advocates of connected autonomous driving believe that fully autonomous vehicles, also known as self-driving cars, could reduce traffic fatalities by up to 94 percent* and potentially save hundreds and thousands of lives annually by eliminating those accidents that are due to human error. This could potentially save hundreds and thousands of lives annually. Join our panelists from 5GAA, OmniAir, Qualcomm, and Keysight Technologies as they share their perspectives on 5G & C-V2X Test Insights.
