The Keysight instrument example code wizard creates executable code for the Keysight 34970A, 34401A and 3499-series instruments. Simple select the desired language, instrument functions, channels and scan parameters the code wizard will do the rest. The code is placed in a module sheet and may be edited, saved, or copied for final use. The code generated is sample code that demonstrates the instrument SCPI commands. It does not contain error handling or techniques to insure robust operation. You may have to modify the code to suit your needs. Several I/O libraries are supported; Keysight SICL, VISA, VISA-COM, ISDK (Instrument software Development Kit) for VB 6.0, National Instruments NI-488.

Used with the 34970A Data Acquisition/Switch unit, the code wizard can create sample code for VEE, Visual Basic, C, Microsoft ® Excel , and HP Basic. Sample code can be created for the 3499-series switch used with the 34401A multimeter in Excel and Visual Basic. Code can also be created for a generic SCPI instrument "Hello World" in Visual Basic, C, and Excel.
