Some new functionality contained in Firmware Revision A.03.03 is only available from a remote computer if the new remote client driver is present. Install this on any PC to control an 86038A loaded with Firmware Rev. A.03.03 over a LAN.

Installation Procedure

Before installing the ODA Remote Client, install the .NET framework available from Microsoft (See URL below). Install the latest version of .NET framework, NOT the Microsoft .NET Framework Software Development Kit (SDK). The ODA Remote Client installation will fail if the .NET framework is not installed on the client PC.

For use with Windows 2000, Service Pack 3 or higher is required.

Download ODARemoteClientInstaller.exe to the client PC. The ODA Remote Client can be installed onto any machine that will control the ODA via the LAN. This version of the ODA Remote Client can only be used to control an 86038A with Firmware Rev. A.03.03. Warning: Do NOT install on the ODA system itself!

Double-click on the upgrade file ODARemoteClientInstaller.exe to run the installation. Complete the installation by following the instructions in the install utility.
