Trace Data Between Automotive Buses

Tracing data through an automotive gateway requires monitoring serial bus activity on both sides of the gateway and determining how messages pass from one network to another. Automotive systems may use buses such as CAN, CAN FD, and LIN for control and monitoring, so engineers need a way to decode multiple buses and preserve the timing relationship between their messages.
