The S963015B SSA-X signal source and phase noise analysis advanced features for E5055A add various versatile measurement capabilities to the E5055A SSA-X in addition to the basic phase noise, AM noise, and baseband noise measurements. The following new phase noise analysis capabilities are added to the basic configuration of E5055A:
- Number of cross-correlations in one measurement: 2 to 100,000 cycles.
- Transient measurement (frequency, power, and phase).
- VCO (Voltage Controlled Oscillator) characterization (frequency/output power vs control voltage).
- Spectrum monitoring up to 15 MHz span.
