The Keysight E1985B GSM/GPRS_AMPS/136_ W-CDMA mobile test application (fast switching) for the 8960 Series 10 test set significantly reduces test times to meet your customer demands multi-format wireless appliances. These new multi-format appliances require test equipment that provides both technology flexibility and the ability to switch between those technologies very quickly to minimize setup and test times. With the E1985B you can minimize setup time when reconfiguring production lines by switching between test applications in less than two seconds.

The E1985B offers an extensive list of transmitter and receiver tests for several analog and digital mobile formats. The test applications support both full signaling (active mode), limited signaling (test mode) and CW modes. For details of the test capabilities in a specific format, refer to the application that supports that format: E1968A for GSM, GPRS and EGPRS; E1961A for AMPS and136; and E1963A for W-CDMA.
