Demos
This video provides an overview of the Keysight Human Workflow (IC.IDO) platform and its three core capabilities: IC.IDO Integrate, IC.IDO Build and Maintain, and IC.IDO Co-lab. Rather than functioning as a single software application, IC.IDO is presented as a subscription-based ecosystem that supports engineering design, product integration, process validation, and collaborative decision-making across distributed teams.
The demo begins by exploring IC.IDO Integrate, which focuses on product packaging and integration workflows. Demonstrations show how engineers can evaluate component accessibility, installability, serviceability, and clearance requirements within complex assemblies. Using real-time physics simulation, users can assess installation and removal paths, identify potential collisions or interferences, and export validated paths back into CAD environments to support ongoing design activities.
A significant portion of the demonstration highlights the validation of flexible components such as cables, hoses, and wiring. The platform enables engineers to simulate realistic behavior, modify cable lengths in real time, and immediately evaluate the impact on assembly, maintenance, and operational performance. Design changes can be documented and exported to inform engineering updates.
The video then transitions to process validation and manufacturing planning using immersive technologies. Through virtual and extended reality environments, engineers can define, record, evaluate, and optimize assembly and disassembly procedures. The platform allows users to reorder assembly sequences, validate tooling concepts, and assess work environments before physical prototypes are built. Examples include battery installation workflows and the evaluation of lifting devices and assembly aids.
Human factors and ergonomics analysis are also demonstrated. By remapping interactions to represent workers of different body sizes and characteristics, organizations can assess accessibility, reachability, and process suitability for diverse populations without requiring physical prototypes or travel.
Finally, the presentation introduces IC.IDO Co-Lab, the collaborative review environment. This capability enables stakeholders from multiple disciplines and organizations to review findings, validate engineering decisions, and approve design and process changes within a shared immersive workspace, supporting a continuous digital thread across the product lifecycle.
