The Keysight AD1021A Automotive Radar Perception Test System enables engineers to validate radar perception algorithms in a controlled, repeatable lab environment. As ADAS and autonomous driving development cycles accelerate, traditional validation methods (simulation, detection testing, and road testing) fail to fully address perception-level challenges. The AD1021A closes this gap by enabling early detection of critical failures arising from combinations of complex scenarios. It supports scalable target emulation, configurable field of view, and angular resolution, and realistic radar effects such as micro-Doppler and multipath. This approach reduces reliance on costly vehicle testing while improving confidence in real-world radar perception performance.
