Meet the SL1047A Scienlab Charging Discovery System – High-Power Series

The Scienlab Charging Discovery System – High-Power Series from Keysight enables you to test charging interfaces of electric vehicles (EVs) and EV supply equipment (EVSE) during high-power charging up to 1,500 V DC and ±600 A DC. With the CDS, you can perform all necessary conformance and interoperability tests according to worldwide charging standards. You can order Keysight's high-power solution, which features the separate Scienlab Cooling Unit with interchangeable liquid-cooled charging adapters, with the maximum voltage of 1,000 or 1,500 V DC. The upgrade functionality from 1,000 V DC to 1,500 V DC is possible at any time.

  • Automated functional, conformance, interoperability, and quality testing for R&D and end-of-line (EOL) applications
  • Time synchronous measurement and decoding of communication and power signals
  • Scalable and future-proof hardware design according to CharIN e.V. CCS Test System
  • CE, UL, and KC-mark conformance
  • Extensive Test Case Library for automated conformance testing of CCS, CHAdeMO, and GB/T standard

VERISCO is now Part of Keysight Technologies

We are pleased to announce that Keysight has completed the acquisition of the assets of verisco GmbH (VERISCO). This acquisition expands our electric vehicle (EV) charging test portfolio. VERISCO, based in Dortmund, Germany, is a specialist in electric vehicle (EV) and EV supply equipment (EVSE) compliance solutions. VERISCO's interdisciplinary engineering team continuously contributes to international standardization communities in ISO and IEC and supports open test platforms like the International ISO 15118 Testing Symposium and CharIN Testivals.

High Performance for all your Applications

The Scienlab Charging Discovery System – High-Power Series provides an all-in-one system that covers all test areas:

  • Provides independent, reproducible test of any EV and EVSE charging interface through real-time emulation of all electrical interfaces of counterpart (including communication signals and energy transfer)
  • Automatically verifies product performance and prototypes (including fault conditions) long before market release
  • Includes real-time man-in-the-middle mode for easy analysis of interoperability issues between EV and EVSE
  • Integrates with custom hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) solutions through open and fully documented remote interface (LAN)

Scienlab Charging Discovery System Family of Solutions

With Scienlab Charging Discovery System – Portable, EMC and High-Power Series, Keysight helps you comply with the relevant charging standards and ensures conformance and interoperability:

  • Provides independent, reproducible test of any EV and EVSE charging interface
  • Includes real time Man-In-the-Middle mode for easy analysis of interoperability issues between EV and EVSE
  • Designed for use in anechoic test chambers and enables conducted and radiated testing of emissions and immunity during AC or DC charging (only EMC Series)
  • Enables you to test current and future standards at up to 900 kW (only High-Power Series)
