The W3040E PathWave Sys-Ckt Verification Simulator includes:
- Ptolemy dataflow numeric simulator for DSP, RF-mixed signal and baseband system simulation
- Verification Test Bench (VTB) engine for verifying RF circuits against industry radar, wireless and network connectivity standards
- Co-simulates with ADS circuit simulators (Circuit Envelope, Transient/Convolution)
- Co-simulates with digital HDL simulators (Cadence NC-Sim and Siemens-Mentor Modelsim)
The PathWave System-Circuit Verification simulator contains Ptolemy and Verification Test Bench dataflow numeric engines to provide communication system simulation comprising Digital Signal Processing (DSP), RF-mixed signal and baseband system design capabilities to the PathWave Advanced Design System (ADS). It co-simulates with RF (Circuit Envelope Simulator), analog (Transient/Convolution circuit similar)) and digital HDL (Cadence NC-Sim and Mentor ModelSim) simulators to enable comprehensive RF mixed signal system design and optimization with both the behavioral and transistor level blocks.
