A dynamic inverter input test requires a controllable high-power DC source connected to the inverter under test, with voltage and current conditions programmed to represent the operating profile being evaluated. The source should establish the required steady-state operating point and then reproduce controlled changes in DC conditions while the inverter input voltage, current, and response are monitored.
