As the industry standard SPICE model validation software, MQA enables automatic and intelligent model QA and report generation. MQA 2016.01 introduces a number of new features and usability enhancements to ensure comprehensive check on complex model libraries efficiently.

New rules and built-in functions

  • New plotinfo type is added to support the overlays of global corner, total corner and Monte Carlo simulation
  • New function “CompDiff()” is added to compare and check the difference between models with the given reference model
  • Enhanced function “CheckTrend2d()” to check if the trend of one curve is different with the others
  • Support the RO leakage vs. gate delay plot
  • Support benchmark rule for GoldenGate
  • Be able to show different W and L values in NP comparison for different sizes of NMOS and PMOS

Improved support of advanced model libraries

  • Support large size model library
  • Support ADS model with mixed SPICE syntax
  • Support Spectre model with mixed SPICE syntax
  • Support 16nm TMI library

Enhancements on reporting function

  • Support MS Office 2013
  • Enhanced Order function for document title customization
