Highlights
Keysight Flex Taps provide reliable, continuous visibility of 100%, enhancing performance and security without any degradation or disruption. They are flexible, scalable, and modular, with 1 to 36 taps in a 1U 19-inch rack. Each 100% passive tap in the family can support speeds up to 400G. Flex Taps are available in multimode and single-mode fiber varieties with split ratios ranging from 50 / 50 to 90 / 10. Depending on the model, Flex Taps are available with either LC or MTP (MPO) connectors.

Flex Taps enable effective network performance, avoiding degradation and disruption. Each versatile Flex Tap is compatible with all protocols and monitoring devices, and you can deploy them at any inline connection on the network without increasing overhead or management workflows. Flex Taps consist of a base chassis unit that can accommodate up to 36 LC links or 12 MTP-based modules.
Passive fiber taps, such as Keysight Flex Taps, are very secure once integrated into a network. They remain live and resist hacking and disablement. A key aspect of selecting a tap is calculating a light budget to ensure that a passive tap does not cause any dropped packets on the monitored network.
