Certification and standards coverage
- Fully supports CTIA's standalone and assisted GNSS OTA Test Plan v9.0, including A-GPS L1+L5, A-GPS L5 only, A-Galileo E1, A-Galileo E5a, and 5G NR non-standalone/standalone (NSA/SA) and 5G RedCap requirements
- Supports China Communications Standards Association (CCSA) OTA requirements for A-BeiDou, standalone BeiDou, GPS+BeiDou, BeiDou only, and BeiDou prefer with signals B1i, B1c, B2a, B2i, B2b, and B3i
- Certified on the CTIA Authorized Equipment List for multiple configuration combinations
Test execution and protocols
- Uses standard cellular signaling channels for direct OTA measurements with IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) and E911 support for Voice over LTE (VoLTE) and Voice over NR (VoNR)
- Conducts tests using standard positioning protocols: LPP/Secure User Plane Location (SUPL) for 5G NR, LPP for LTE, Radio Resource Location Services Protocol (RRLP) for GSM, Radio Resource Control (RRC) for WCDMA, and IS-801 for CDMA
- Supports SUPL 2.0 with RRLP and LPP protocol
Flexibility and integration
- Flexible parameters enable test time optimization by modifying test schedules and running only required tests
- Supports OTA performance testing beyond CTIA Test Plan requirements — for example, Total Isotropic Sensitivity (TIS) calculation for A-GPS L1+L5
- OTA Open application programming interface (API) option enables advanced customization and test case development
- Integrates with the Location Technology Solution (LTS) for a combined multi-technology GNSS OTA test solution
- Compatible with SATIMO SMM and ETS-Lindgren EMQuest automation software for chamber integration
