Computer security is an issue that concerns us all. That's why we're working with Microsoft to announce the release of the Keysight 5DX 8.2.4 Patch with Microsoft® Windows® XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) with Advanced Security Technologies.

With the recent release of Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2, we have had to make several changes to the Keysight 5DX software. Service Pack 2 caused several problems to occur with the 5DX which prevents the system from operating normally. The 5DX 8.2.4 patch addresses these changes made by Microsoft and allows the Keysight 5DX to perform as expected.

Software revision 8.2.4 addresses these issues:

Title Problem Description Resolution
Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 The 5DX system will crash during automatic startup and during inspection of panels.  The changes made to the registry and memory allocation has caused the 5DX to become unstable during machine operation.  
CR15914 - NDF Cleaner Asserts an error message with writing exclusion zones   Test Link's NDF cleaner will now load and format the exclusion zone file without generating an error message.
