Signal generation capabilities

Compatible with PNT X and GSS7000 simulator platforms

  • On PNT X, the I/Q generator is built into the C50 X — no additional chassis required
  • For GSS7000, a standalone I/Q generator and optional signal generator extend existing systems
  • Existing GSS7000 simulators can be upgraded to produce Xona Pulsar signals alongside GNSS
  • Controlled through SimGEN software for scenario definition, I/Q task scheduling, and radio frequency (RF) simulation execution

Signal generator performance (GSS7000 extension)

  • 0.1 dB carrier level control resolution with ±0.5 dB absolute accuracy
  • Run-to-run repeatability of ±0.1 dB
  • Internal 10.00 MHz oven-controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO) with ±5 × 10⁻¹⁰ per day stability
  • N-type coax 50 Ω RF output; separate ports for GNSS and Xona Pulsar signals
  • Compliant with Xona Pulsar demonstration ICD v1.3.0 and production ICD v0.5.0
