EDA Learning Assistant (Chat)

Keysight EDA Learning Assistant (Chat) is a generative AI solution that provides quick, context-aware answers to product-related questions while you work with Keysight ADS. The learning assistant capability consists of an ADS plug-in for your desktop and a Learning Assistant Inference Server. It is trained on ADS 2026 Update 1.0 product documentation, knowledge base articles, Python API content, and YouTube videos. 

EDA Learning Assistant Plug-in Installer

This component extends the ADS help system to support natural language queries and provide just-in-time answers to your desktop. 

This is available on all platforms that support ADS.  Choose your operating system below to download the correct plugin installer.  Once downloaded, extract and open the installer.  You will need the URL for the EDA inference server (either cloud or enterprise-installed per instructions below) to complete the installation.  For more details, please visit Install Learning Assistant in ADS - Keysight EDA Chat 

NOTE: The EDA Learning Assistant (Chat) add-on enabled for ADS 2026 Update 1 or earlier is not compatible with ADS 2026 Update 2 and later versions.

EDA Inference Server for Learning Assistant

This is an optional install not typically required by the end-user.  This installer provides the engineer application team the tools to install and manage an on-premises Inference Server for Learning Assistant if not using the Keysight-provided cloud server. 

You can deploy the on-premises EDA inference server when you prefer to deploy and manage the EDA Chat backend server within your infrastructure. This method requires installation, deployment, and configuration of the backend server on your premises.

EDA Tool Assistant (CoPilot)

The EDA tool assistant capability consists of an ADS plug-in for your desktop. The EDA Copilot Tool Assistant is an intelligent, prompt-driven system designed to streamline and automate simulation and analysis within the ADS environment. Provided on an early access basis, it not only answers user queries with precision but also performs complex actions such as setting up simulations/analysis, executing them, and plotting the results—all through natural language prompts.
