Higher-order modulation (4096 QAM) requires error vector magnitude better than –38 dB and signal-to-noise ratios above 42 dB, which means radio frequency (RF) path loss between test chambers must be minimized. Channels up to 320 MHz wide in the 6 GHz band require preamble puncturing validation to confirm devices handle disabled subchannels correctly. Multi-link operation adds a layer of complexity.
