Description
There exists a buffer overflow vulnerability in the Microsoft Internet Explorer JPEG image rendering component. The vulnerability is caused due to the improper validation of user specified data in JPEG image files. A remote attacker can exploit the vulnerability by enticing the target user to open a malicious JPEG image file, which may terminate the browser, or execute arbitrary code with the security context of the currently logged in user.
