Highlights
The W2344EP/ET 3D EM Distributed Computing 8-pack accelerates EMPro simulations by running up to 8 parallel jobs on 8 nodes of a compute cluster. The W2344EP/ET supports both FEM and FDTD distributed simulations. FEM simulations can be accelerated by distributing the frequency point solutions across the cluster. FDTD simulations can be accelerated by distributing the port solutions across the cluster. Distributed simulations can be run on 8 cluster nodes by utilizing either 8 individual simulator licenses, or more economically by utilizing just one simulator license plus one W2344EP/ET Distributed Computing 8-pack license.
Configuration Information:
- Requires separate compute cluster management system such as LSF and SunGrid
- Requires either the W2342EP/ET FEM Simulator Element, or the W2405EP/ET FDTD Simulator Element, as a prerequisite
