Keysight N15005A Parallel plate/inductance method software enables to evaluate the permittivity and permeability characteristics of a thin film material under test (MUT) with E4991B impedance analyzer. Two fixtures are dedicatedly designed and available, 16453A Dielectric Material Test Fixture for the permittivity measurement and 16454A Magnetic Material Test Fixture for the permeability measurement. The parallel plate method is so called the three terminals method in ASTM standard D150. The measurement frequency range is up to 1 GHz for both measurements with E4991B impedance analyzer. The N15005A is fully compatible with the N1500A option 005 Parallel plate / inductance software.
