The 8100 5G Mobile Device Test System provides automated, scalable performance testing for 5G mobile devices across voice, data, video, and location technologies on a single expandable platform.

Test coverage and standards

  • Supports frequency division duplex (FDD) and time division duplex (TDD) NR, FDD and TDD LTE (Option 3x), and standalone 5G (Option 2)
  • Delivers 256 quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) on both uplink and downlink with 4 downlink and 2 uplink multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) streams
  • Provides standards-based conformance testing aligned to 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP), Global Certification Forum (GCF), and PCS Type Certification Review Board (PTCRB) requirements
  • Offers comprehensive assisted global navigation satellite system (A-GNSS) location testing across GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZSS), and Navigation with Indian Constellation (NAVIC) constellations with multiple frequencies
