Description
Device Modeling WaferPro 2025 continues to enhance measurement productivity and efficiency with new capabilities.
Built on the robust Device Modeling IC-CAP technology, WaferPro features a modern and intuitive user interface. It can conduct tests in either virtual or simulation mode, making it easier to develop measurement routines. WaferPro serves as the software platform for Keysight's Advanced Low Frequency Noise Analyzer (A-LFNA). This release introduces the ability to control the A-LFNA from third-party test executive software using a dedicated Python API.
The 2025 release further improves the Python 3 programming environment, allowing users to create custom measurements, post-processing algorithms, and pass/fail conditions. Additionally, this release includes new drivers for the latest Keysight instruments. WaferPro can export measured data in multiple standard formats during test plan execution, including IC-CAP's MDM, MBP's MEA formats, and, now, compressed HDF5.

A-LFNA Support
WaferPro 2025 supports the latest A-LFNA software release to work with the E4727B Advanced Low-Frequency Noise Analyzer to enable fast, accurate, and repeatable low-frequency noise (LFN) measurements on numerous device types. New Python & C++ API’s enable WaferPro/A-LFNA remote control from external applications, so you can use the A-LFNA as if it were a standalone instrument and drive it from custom test executive software.
