The System Validation Package (SVP) is a software package for the Keysight E2920 Series for PCI and PCI-X testing. The series includes analyzer and exercisers that help you to evaluate, optimize and validate your PCI/PCI-X designs. Single products of the series are:

For PCI

- E2925B PCI Exerciser and Analyzer, 32 bit 33 MHz

- E2928A PCI Exerciser and Analyzer, 32 bit/64 bit 66 MHz

For CompactPCI

- E2940A CompactPCI Exerciser and Analyzer, 32 bit/64 bit 66 MHz

For PCI-X

- E2929B PCI-X Exerciser and Analyzer, 32 bit/64 bit 0 to 133 MHz

SVP for PCI and PCI-X Compliance Testing based on the demand of the PCI-SIG program

Keysight Technologies has been working closely together with the PCI Special Interest Group (PCI-SIG) to provide compliance tests, which are utilized, for testing PCI and PCI-X systems at each PCI-SIG Compliance workshop. Keysight supplies the hardware and software to perform PCI-SIG compliance testing, including a PCI-SIG Compliance Test Library.

The Compliance Test Library performs two types of test categories. One category is System Tests and Add-in Card tests. In addition, the other category provides over 50 PCI/PCI-X protocol tests, which automatically run on the bus checking for various protocol violations.

The individual tests are described in the Technical Overview of SVP downloadable from this page.
