54620/40-Series Oscilloscope Quick Help
Use the link under the Downloads heading to download and install the latest version of the localized Quick Help files onto your 54620/40-Series oscilloscope. The download is a self-extracting archive with language file containing French, German, Japanese, Italian, Korean, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Portuguese, and Russian. English Quick Help is built into the 54620/40-series oscilloscope application software.
Note
The 54620-series application software must be upgraded to version A.02.20 (or greater) prior to installing QuickHelp language version 2.4. Get the latest 54620-Series Oscilloscope Application Software
Download the Quick Help file
- Create a folder c:\54600 on your local pc.
- Click on the "54620/40-Series Oscilloscope Quick Help Language Software" link under the Downloads heading and save the file to c:\54600. This is a self-extracting archive.
- To extract the Quick Help file, double-click on the downloaded .exe file from Windows® Explorer and select c:\54600 as the destination folder.
- Copy the extracted language file (langpack.jzp) to a 3.5" floppy disk. It is important that file suffix (jzp) is preserved on the floppy so that the oscilloscope can recognize the file.
Load the Quick Help file into the oscilloscope
- Insert the floppy disk with the new Quick Help file into the oscilloscope disk drive.
- Press the Utility key on the oscilloscope front panel, then press the Language softkey to enter the Language menu.
- Press the Load Language softkey to load the language file.
