The Configuration Software includes the control/definition software for the cassettes and head amplifiers. It must be required to install the corresponding software for the installed cassette and head amplifiers. When you want to use a new type of them, you do not need to update the system software itself and install only the configuration software for the new head amplifier/cassette. The revision of configuration installation software is expressed by date of issue.

Since this system software installer includes all of the available configuration software from Keysight at its release time, you can install them at the same time for the convenience of users. However, if you have any head amplifiers and cassettes released after that time, you need to install this E5029 Configuration Software to add new configuration files into the system.
