The S8714A UXM 5G RF Application is an easy-to-use and fast solution for RF testing. The simple UI, quickly selectable measurements, easily viewable results from multiple measurements, and automatic procedures for common protocol use cases make the RF application the ideal solution. For hardware integration, performance optimization, regression and design verification testing, and repair.

Easily verify RF performance of 5G NR NSA and SA devices with built-in 3GPP tests. Simply select the test from the drop-down menu and the RF application automatically configures parameters according to 3GPP and starts the measurement. Save test development time since understanding the 3GPP specification in detail is not necessary. Supported tests include:

  • LTE.
  • RedCap.
  • 5G NR FR1 and FR2 SA.
  • 5G NR FR1 SA for UL MIMO including full Tx power for s6.2D.1 with PC 1.5 devices.
  • 5G NR FR1 SA for 2UL CA and Tx diversity, DL MIMO OTA, SAR regional profiles​.
  • 5G NR FR1 and FR2 NSA.
  • 5G NR SAR regional profiles.
  • 5G NR maximum IP data throughput.
  • NB-NTN and NR-NTN device test. Configure satellite and device positions, RTT delays for feeder and service links and also GSO doppler parameters.

Quickly modify parameters essential for RF testing such as channel, band, and bandwidth. By entering a new value from the main screen – the change is made automatically with the RF application’s intelligent signaling. Change multiple parameters simultaneously by configuring a single blind handover.

Many 5G NR devices such as CPE also support WLAN. Use Keysight’s S8714A UXM 5G RF Application to measure the RF performance of WLAN access points. Measurements are based on IEEE for 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be/bn. Support for 320 MHz B/W, 4x4 MIMO and 4096QAM.
