Keysight Device Security Workshop 2026
Master Embedded Security. Shape the Future.
Join the 19th edition of the industry’s leading event for device security professionals, researchers, and engineers.
Why join the Keysight Device Security Workshop
Embedded systems are becoming more complex, while attacks evolve just as rapidly. Fixing hardware weaknesses becomes more expensive at each development stage, and new regulations such as CRA, RED, EU CC, and PQC are putting additional requirements on vendors. At the same time, growing time‑to‑market pressure makes early and effective device security testing critical.
As device security becomes a concern for more industries and product teams, organizations need both technical understanding and strategic clarity. The Keysight Device Security Workshop is designed to address this by inviting you to a two‑day event with flexible agenda: a hands‑on Skills Lab Day and followed by a Workshop day offering cutting edge knowledge and strategic expertise. In its 19th edition, the workshop continues to equip global teams with practical skills and forward‑looking know-how to deliver secure, resilient, and market‑ready products.
Workshop Agenda
The workshop is split into two days. This format is designed to support both newcomers and experienced professionals, allowing each participant to choose the level of participation that best fits their needs.
Two Days. Two Purposes. One Complete Experience.
The Keysight Device Security Workshop is built around a clear learning progression.
Day 1 focuses on building a solid foundation in device security testing, while Day 2 focuses on market‑driven, regulatory, and technology insights that support strategic decision‑making.
Day 1 | Skills Lab: An Intensive Learning Experience
A hands‑on introduction to Side‑Channel Analysis (SCA) and Fault Injection (FI). No prior experience required. Participants work step‑by‑step with Keysight experts, using Inspector software and test equipment to perform real measurements and attacks.
Day 2 | Workshop: Cutting‑Edge Knowledge & Strategy
Focused on advanced topics and industry context, including post‑quantum cryptography (PQC), certification and regulations, Caliptra project, pre‑silicon security, emerging research, and the Keysight roadmap.
How You Can Participate
- New to SCA/FI? Attend both days to build technical foundations on Day 1 and gain strategic insight on Day 2.
- Already experienced with device security? Choose to attend only the Workshop day (Day 2) and focus on the latest developments and industry trends.
Learn by Doing
The Skills Lab is an intensive, hands‑on technical training day designed to give participants a solid, practical understanding of SCA and FI.
This session is ideal for those entering the field or strengthening their technical foundation. Guided by our expert engineers, participants work directly with Keysight PXI testbenches, and the Inspector software suite, gaining hands‑on access to run complete attack campaigns based on real‑world examples.
Ideal for:
- Newcomers to SCA & FI
- Teams onboarding new engineers
- Organizations building or expanding their device security lab
- Engineers transitioning into hardware security roles
What You Will Learn:
- Fundamental concepts of Side‑Channel Analysis
- Leakage detection & evaluation
- Fault injection concepts and test bench setup
- Real‑world attack demonstrations
This day prepares you with the first phase of technical confidence and practical skillset needed to approach device security testing effectively.
Cutting‑Edge Knowledge & Strategy
The Workshop day shifts from hands-on techniques to industry intelligence and strategic planning. Engineers, researchers, lab managers, and decision-makers gain visibility into developments shaping embedded security today and over the next years, from regulatory frameworks and post-quantum cryptography to new hardware architectures and evolving attack surfaces.
Ideal for: CTOs, technical directors, university researchers, lab leads, security managers, certification teams, and Inspector users expanding their capabilities.
What You'll Gain:
- Market & regulatory trends and PQC migration strategies
- Caliptra and pre-silicon security insights
- New Inspector features & hardware roadmap
- Research talks on AI, leakage modeling, and emerging techniques
This day provides the strategic knowledge and industry awareness needed to future-proof your organization's security efforts.
Build the skills and strategy to stay ahead
This workshop meets participants at their current level and role.
- Participants gain hands-on experience of Side-Channel Analysis and Fault Injection, learning practical attack techniques from experienced practitioners using real devices and real tools.
- Lab managers gain clarity on regulatory expectations, benchmarking approaches, and how to scale security testing effectively.
- Business and technical leaders learn how early security testing reduces compliance risk, shortens development cycles, and provides clear guidance on what to build, how to build it, and why it matters.
Beyond the technical sessions, participants connect with industry peers and consult directly with Keysight Device Security experts with over 20 years of field experience. You leave with both the practical skills and the strategic insight needed to strengthen and advance your organization’s security strategy.
