Watch this video for a Satcom system simulation with an end-to-end model that includes a ground station, the channel model, and the satellite. The channel model captures the dynamics of satellite mobility and includes signals received by both the satellite and the ground station. Keysight’s System Design simulation software leverages the Ansys Systems Toolkit (STK) to model this simulation part. The measurement science is illustrated with examples of measured vs. modeled RF parameters on a phased array model. The Satcom link budget is examined with realistic dynamic channels and accurate RF subsystems and antenna models.
