When designing RF layouts, we need to iteratively tweak the layout structure and attached RLC component values until all critical RF paths have the required performance. Traditionally, this requires separate EM and circuit simulators for the layout and component analysis. Then, the designer must manually combine the EM and circuit simulation results.
