Discusses radar measurements, which are used to determine the range, angle, and radial velocity of objects relative to the radar system. The most common radar measurements are range, azimuth, and elevation. Range measurements determine the distance between the radar system and the target, azimuth measurements determine the direction of the target relative to the radar system, and elevation measurements determine the altitude of the target relative to the radar system. Radar measurements are important for a variety of applications, and by understanding how radar measurements are made, engineers can design radar systems that meet the specific needs of their applications.
