Keysight's Electronic Design Automation (EDA) Software group works closely with foundries to offer you high-frequency Process Design Kits (PDKs) in Si, SiGe, GaAs, InP and GaN processes. Foundry support for Keysight EDA solutions can be categorized as dedicated PDKs for Advanced Design System (ADS) and their enablement within Virtuoso and Design Compiler PDKs.

Silicon Foundry PDKs
Silicon Foundry PDKs contain device and model libraries for circuit design and simulation of Silicon RFICs in Advanced Design System (ADS) and RFIC Design (GoldenGate); process technology data and others foundry specific attributes for Electromagnetic (EM) Simulation with RFPro.
Using these PDKs within the ADS design environment accesses its proven circuit, EM, thermal, RF system, statistical simulation; and unique module level multi-technology physical design/verification capabilities to ensure first-pass successful silicon.
III-V Foundry PDKs
III-V Foundry PDKs for GaAs, InP and GaN processes are jointly developed by the foundries and Keysight for use with Advanced Design System (ADS) and validated with the foundries. They contain device libraries for simulation and layout; verification rules for Design Rule Check (DRC), Layout vs. Schematic (LVS); process technology data for EM and Electro-Thermal simulations; and other foundry specific attributes for the design of III-V MMICs in ADS.
Using these PDKs within the ADS design environment accesses its proven circuit, EM, thermal, RF system, statistical simulation; and unique module level multi-technology physical design/verification capabilities to ensure first-pass successful MMICs.

Si ADS/Virtuoso Interoperable PDKs
ADS/Virtuoso interoperable PDKs are Virtuoso PDKs enhanced with Advanced Design System (ADS) features and validated with foundry for use in ADS to design and simulate silicon RFICs.
Si iPDKs
Silicon Interoperable Process Design Kits (Si iPDKs) are based on the OpenAccess database with standard customization language such as Python and Tcl to ensure interoperability among multi-vendor EDA tools. These can be used in ADS to design and simulate silicon RFICs.
Si ADS Native PDKs
ADS native PDKs are PDKs developed by Keysight and validated with foundry for use in ADS to design and simulate silicon RFICs.
