The DS1142A 30 A Glitch Amplifier is engineered by security professionals to enable a wide range of users to power and induce high-speed voltage glitches on embedded targets consuming significant power making it an integral addition to your Fault injection (FI) and Side Channel Analysis (SCA) testbench.  

DS1142A is the ultimate glitch source you need; optimized to deliver controlled, precise and high-speed glitches without compromising stability for any embedded targets consuming power up to 30A. Designed to pair seamlessly with the Keysight DS1050A Next Generation Embedded Security Testbench, DS1180A Glitch Pattern Generator and Inspector software, the DS1142A 30 A Glitch Amplifier brings advanced capabilities to security testing. 

  • Flexibility for maximum output swing enabling a broad spectrum of test cases and target  
    • Supports 3 glitch modes: crowbar, voltage follower and normal. With crowbar mode allows the power line of the target to be momentarily short-circuited which in turn injects glitches. With the voltage follower mode, monitor variable reference voltage from the processor that allows synchronized glitching based on real-time core voltage changes. Normal mode delivers standard glitch pulses.
    • 3 amplification modes 1x, 2x and 4x.
  • Supports embedded targets such as FPGAs and SOCs with high dynamic current consumption up to 30 A. 
  • Enables high-precision voltage glitching for output range -4V to +12V using DS1180A Glitch Pattern Generator for advanced fault injection with nanosecond precision glitch speed. 
  • Integrated signal monitoring allows to measure and observe the output signal using an oscilloscope. 
  • Includes Glitch Needle to enable normal glitch mode without the need to cut power line.
