This video introduces the Keysight DDR Logic Analyzer portfolio, built for high-speed memory validation and debugging. These modular AXIe-based analyzers support ultra‑high channel counts, deep memory capture, high‑speed state mode, and advanced timing analysis to accelerate DDR/LPDDR system bring‑up and debug.

  • Ultra‑High Channel Count: AXIe modules such as the U4164A provide 136 channels per module, scaling to large multi‑module systems. This enables wide‑bus DDR and LPDDR visibility and supports coherent multi‑channel capture for complex memory subsystems.

  • Ultra‑Deep Memory: With memory depths up to 400 M samples per module, long‑duration captures allow engineers to analyze extended DDR/LPDDR activity sequences, trigger events, and decode burst patterns with high fidelity.

  • High‑Speed State Mode: State mode operation up to 4 Gb/s enables synchronized, clock‑qualified capture of DDR/LPDDR read/write operations. Quad‑sample state mode provides four sample positions with dual thresholds from a single probe point, reducing probing complexity and maintaining signal integrity. 

  • Quarter‑Channel Timing Mode: Timing mode supports sampling rates up to 10 GHz, enabling detailed timing margin analysis, eye scans, and investigation of electrical performance issues such as jitter and skew in high‑speed DDR links. Timing de‑skew controls and clock hysteresis adjustment further improve capture accuracy.

Pairing the analyzer with Keysight memory analysis software and a range of interposers, probes, and BGA/mid‑bus accessories accelerates DDR/LPDDR setup, protocol‑aware triggering, JEDEC‑based measurements, and compliance checks.
