PathWave System Design Bundled Software

PathWave System Design software bundles provide system engineers with a choice of value-packed, pre-configured combinations of software built for specific system design challenges. These combinations provide up to three different simulation technologies:RF systems, communications/digital signal processing, and phased array analysis.There are also several add-on elements that add powerful features to the system design workflow as well as libraries that enable system-level design and verification forspecific industry applications such as radar/EW and cellular communications.

 

PathWave System Design bundles are comprised of the W4800B PathWave System Design Core environment and add separate PathWave System Design Simulation Elements, each of which provide specific design and simulation capabilities.

Simulation elements are themselves comprised of one or more separate modules, which add additional design and development functions. These modules, which were formerly sold separately, are now grouped together into very efficient and effective combinations.

This step-by-step process will help you configure your new PathWave System Designsoftware when making your initial order.

 

Step 1: Choose your software product

 

Base bundles

The W4800B PathWave System Design Core bundle is the foundation for all other PathWave System Design bundles. It contains the PathWave System Design user environment, data plotting, and MATLAB® code support. The remaining PathWave System Design bundles add powerful system simulators to the core environment.

 

System design bundles

W4801B is built for RF system designers looking to replace their spreadsheet solutions with a true nonlinear RF system simulator. W4802B is for communications system and DSP developers looking for an algorithm and signal processing platform that can include realistic RF impairment modeling and powerful built-in communications libraries.

 

Algorithm design bundle

Built for system designers working in alternative platforms such as MATLAB, the algorithm design bundle provides access to the simulation engines in PathWave System Design outside of the user environment. It is designed to enable system engineers to simulate designs and libraries from PathWave System Design from the host platform rather than from the PathWave System Design Core environment

 

High-speed digital bundle

For designers working in high-speed digital technologies, PathWave System Design offers a bundle containing all the required elements to create AMI models from schematics. Creates the C++ executable models for these systems for use in other platforms such as PathWave Advanced Design System (ADS).
