Conforming to the OPEN Alliance Automotive Ethernet ECU test specification, set by the TC8 subcommittee in August 2017, the Keysight E6959A covers the transmitter electrical specifications including the MDI mode conversion loss and Common Mode emission tests. These tests are used for evaluation of the physical layer of a 100BASE-T1 interface on the ECU level.

Keysight recommends using the most current version, which includes the most up-to-date bug fixes and security patches available.
