E4360 Firmware Update

• Click Download, enter your information as required, and then click Download again.

1. Download and install the Firmware Update Utility at the bottom of this page.
2. Download the Keysight E4360 Firmware Update file at this page and save to a known location.
3. Click Start > All Programs > Keysight Firmware Update Utility.
4. Refer Firmware Update Utility Instructions at the bottom of this page to proceed
5. The update may take several seconds to complete and will reboot the instrument. After the update is complete, exit the utility.

• Note: There is no need to re-calibrate when this new firmware is installed.

5. Select the model number of the mainframe.
6. Click Next.
7. Select the I/O interface connecting your mainframe to your PC.
8. Specify the necessary settings (GPIB address, IP address, USB ID).
9. Click Update and wait until finished.
10. Cycle power on the mainframe. The new firmware will be running in the E4360A mainframe when power is reapplied.

Note: There is no need to recalibrate the instrument.
