Drive Test: Why Must the Keysight E6452A Be Calibrated After a Firmware Upgrade?

When the current E74xx Drive Test Solutions software runs with older E6452A receivers the amplitude accuracy may no longer meet its published amplitude calibration specifications (by 1 to 4 dB). This is due to a firmware upgrade that changes the tuning equation of the E6452A. Affected receivers should be returned to an Keysight service center for a complimentary (no charge) calibration that will restore your receiver to its specified performance.
