How often does the system user alignment for the PSA EMI Measurement Receiver need to be run?

Under normal use there are two different mechanisms that can trigger the need for the user alignments to be performed. They are:

• The internal operating temperature of the N9039A has changed by 3° Celsius since the last user alignment was run
• It has been longer than 30 days* (336 hours) since the last successful user alignment

The user alignment will also need to be performed if:

• The PSA firmware is updated
• The N9039A software is updated
• The N9039A software is restored by doing a system recovery
• One of the two instruments in the system has been changed

* With N9039A software version A.02.02 or later. 5 days (120 hours) otherwise.
