Why is a negative D value sometimes displayed when a furnished PTFE plate is measured with the 16453A?

PTFE plate has extremely low dissipation factor near zero over a broad frequency range. When resistance component of Short compensation data is slightly too large, the resistance component of measured impedance for the PTFE plate is over-compensated. Since the compensated resistance becomes a negative value, the dissipation factor measurement also results in a negative value.
