To be competitive in today’s consumer electronics industry, manufacturers must constantly innovate on the design of their devices, especially as consumers demand devices that are smaller with more features, faster speeds, and longer run times. However, as devices shrink, power challenges grow. Batteries, external power source, or some combination of the two power all electronic devices from mobile phones to toys to medical devices.
