Experience the future of 5G network analysis and optimization with Keysight's EXata platform. In this demo, Miguel Tinoco, an Application Engineer Manager for the Exata team at Keysight, showcases the impressive capabilities of EXata through a real-world scenario featuring a cutting-edge 3D mass communication architecture.

The scenario unfolds on a remote island interconnected with an urban area via a 5G Mobile Telecommunications Network (MTN). This MTN is bolstered by a constellation of 89 OneWeb Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites, ensuring comprehensive coverage over the Pacific and western United States. Additionally, an A1 stationary air orbit satellite complements the LEO satellites, establishing connectivity within the US through a ground station facility in Los Angeles, CA.

From Los Angeles, the network extends to the Internet backbone, connecting to control centers in New York and Las Vegas. Las Vegas serves as a pivotal location, with two distinct areas leveraging different 5G core technologies. One area utilizes a high-altitude platform system connected to a UE near a hiking location, demonstrating space-to-ground communication capabilities across varying terrains and weather conditions. The other area is linked through a terrestrial 5G network to a UE near the MGM Grand, showcasing outdoor ray tracing and multipath effects in urban environments.

The demo provides a comprehensive visualization of the network topology and operations through an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI). Hierarchical structures enhance visualization, making it easier to create, manage, and visualize network operations. This user-friendly interface simplifies complex network configurations and facilitates data-related demonstrations.

One such demonstration involves resilient traffic routing, crucial for mission-critical applications like intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR). Data collected from environmental sensors on Tahiti Islands in the Polynesian region is transmitted via live satellite to a data center in New York. The Leo satellite constellation facilitates this transmission, offering a comprehensive view of satellite communications and interactions. Real-time visualization of message routing and satellite movements provides insights into network performance and reliability.

The demo further highlights the role of EXata in enabling remote control capabilities for EMS users. Users can interact with sensors remotely, leveraging advanced connectivity to monitor and manage critical infrastructure in real time. Whether it's monitoring signal strength in different locations or assessing terrain-related losses, EXata empowers users with actionable insights for network optimization.

Outdoor ray tracing plays a pivotal role in understanding signal propagation characteristics across diverse environments. As the demo illustrates, signal strength and delay are influenced by factors such as elevation changes, foliage interference, and atmospheric conditions. Through real-time analysis, users can assess the impact of terrain and obstacles on network performance, enabling informed decision-making in network planning and deployment.

The scenario analyzer provides a comprehensive view of network performance metrics in real time. From total path loss to terrain-induced losses, users can generate detailed reports to assess network efficiency and reliability. By tracking end-to-end delays for sensor data and processing reports, users gain a deeper understanding of network latency and performance bottlenecks.

In conclusion, Keysight's EXata platform revolutionizes 5G network analysis and optimization, offering unparalleled capabilities for scenario modeling and real-world simulations. From satellite communication to outdoor ray tracing, EXata empowers users to unlock the full potential of 5G technology in an ever-evolving network landscape. Thank you for exploring the future of 5G with Keysight.
