Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) remains one of the primary imaging tools in medical research and clinical settings. MRI radio frequency (RF) coils are one of the main components of MRI, serving as near-field antennas to generate patient images. The MRI coil resonates at the Larmor frequency, which is directly proportional to the magnetic strength of the MRI scanner. RF coil designs significantly impact the quality of MRI images, including signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), field uniformity, and image resolution.
