HIGHLIGHTS
- ONLY scope that can import FIBEX files that define the synchronous FlexRay timing schedule
- ONLY scope that displays synchronous slot and segment timing boundaries relative to decoded frames
- ONLY scope with hardware-based FlexRay eye-diagram mask testing
- ONLY scope with FlexRay triggering and decode option that also supports higher-level protocol analysis on a PC
Keysight Technologies InfiniiVision Series mixed signal oscilloscopes (MSOs) offer integrated FlexRay serial bus triggering, hardware-accelerated protocol decoding, and eye-diagram mask testing so you can more efficiently and effectively debug the physical layer of your automotive FlexRay designs.
Unlike CAN and LIN, the FlexRay serial bus protocol is based on a time-triggered architecture. Through the unique and synergistic combination of an MSO and a Keysight VPT1000 FlexRay vehicle protocol tester acquisition module (included with Option FR2), you can trigger on and view slot and segment timing boundaries relative to frame transmissions of this time-triggered serial bus. Keysight’s InfiniiVision Series MSOs with Option FR2 are the first and only oscilloscopes that provide these capabilities to help you debug the physical layer characteristics of you FlexRay buses.
Keysight’s InfiniiVision MSOs are also the only scopes that can perform hardware-based FlexRay eye-diagram mask testing. Keysight’s mask testing, which is a standard feature of Option FR2, is capable of testing up to 100,000 waveforms per second. Various FlexRay mask files, which are based on published FlexRay Physical Layer standards for testing at multiple test planes and baud rates, are available as free downloads.
For higher abstraction level FlexRay protocol analysis on a PC, you can add the N5479A FlexRay PC software
