Generate faded signals with up to a 17 MHz RF bandwidth
Selecting Option 160 for N5115A Baseband Studio for fading provides up to 17 MHz RF bandwidth (measured 0.1 dB down) with 15 paths and less than 1 ns delay resolution for demanding channel simulation of wireless environments. A unique processing algorithm enables you to choose up to 48 paths for applications that do not require the full 17 MHz bandwidth.

Option 160 is required for performing channel simulation of signals that have a bandwidth at or below 17 MHz. Common uses include design verification of mobile phone and cellular base station receivers. Dual-channel configurations for applications such as transmit or receive diversity are also available.
Note: Dual-channel configurations require two of each desired option, as well as two N5101A Baseband Studio PCI cards. Dual channel capability is not supported with the E5515C wireless communications test set.
