Here is a list of external video monitors that can be used with the Agilent 8920, 8921 test sets as of June 1994. These are multi-scan monitors that plug into the rear panel "CRT Video Output" connector. The first two listed can be purchased through our Specials Department (Option K24 and K43). Most of the remaining monitors are now discontinued.

1) Electrohome

SPECIAL OPTION: K24

DESCRIPTION:

Option K24 for the Agilent 8920A provides a 12-inch monitor and adapter cable to connect the monitor to the video output of the 8920A. This option can be ordered with an 8920A or as a standalone for use with a previously shipped 8920A.

The current monitor supplied is a Electrohome Model Number EVM 1242, 12 inch, multi-scan Monochrome Monitor. The Specification are given below:

 Horizontal Freq. 15.5 - 40 kHz

 Vertical Freq. 40 - 90 Hz

NOTE! The Electrohome Monitor is housed in square gray metal chassis. Its appearance is not very attractive. The monitor has two video inputs which are selected from an input select switch located under the front control cover. The video signal BNC connector is on the rear panel making it convenient to connect to the 8920A. This unit is NOT compatible with Option H20 on the 8920A which provides a PAL monitor output signal. Electrohome is a Canadian company.
