This sample program sets the 34970A for a simple scan that makes both DCV and type J thermocouple temperature measurements. The program also checks the instrument and module identification to make sure there is communication between the 34970A and the computer, and the correct module is installed. The returned measurements are output in a list box.
This program requires a 34901A module.
The program requires that VISA and the 34970A VXIplug&play driver are installed in the computer. VISA comes with the Agilent I/O Library and the VXIplug&play driver comes with the 34970A or can be downloaded from the Agilent Developer Network (ADN) Web site at www.agilent.com/find/adn-drivers-by-model. Also include the hp34970a.h file in the project and link the hp34970a_32.lib file.
